The Contest 38 S is one of those vessels where you immediately notice that it was built to sail for years. Designed by Dick Zaal and built by Conyplex in Medemblik, it is solid Dutch craftsmanship from an era when quality and seaworthiness came first.
The Vlinder is a neat Contest 38 S and has clearly received the attention such a vessel deserves. The high-quality teak interior is warm and inviting, and thanks to the central cockpit, she features a comfortable aft cabin. Furthermore, the bed there has been extended and widened.
With her wing keel of only 1,55 meters, powerful 59 hp Volvo Penta, bow thruster, Maxprop, roller mainsail, and extensive equipment, this is a very complete cruiser. The hull and superstructure have been professionally painted and still present a fine appearance.
A rock-solid Dutch quality yacht with character, space, and comfort. A superb vessel for those who want to sail seriously and stay comfortably on board.
