Below you will find a few handy links with information you may need when sailing to and from your yacht broker:

Regulations for pleasure craft

After purchasing a new ship, there are a number of things that need to be checked. Convenient to insure the ship, your broker can send you an offer without any obligation. From the moment you take over the ship it is also your risk and a good insurance is wise. In addition, some ships need to be registered. If your ship falls under the registration requirement you can read the following link: Ship registration.

Sailing licence and VHF certificate

If you have a VHF on board you will need a VHF certificate. If your new ship is a fast motorboat, shorter than 20 metres and can sail faster than 20 kilometres per hour, or a pleasure boat with a length of 15 to 25 metres, then you need to be in possession of a sailing certificate.
