In 1987, 5 independent entrepreneurs took the initiative that would lead to the establishment of the Vereniging Schepenkring Netherlands.

They were all entrepreneurs whose main activity was to mediate in the sale of yachts. They asked themselves whether it would be possible to join forces while retaining full independence and control of their own business. Joining forces in the field of promotion, marketing, trade fair attendance and image to the market. A number of fundamental agreements were made and so was the establishment of the Vereniging Schepenkring Nederland on 1 August 1988 a fact.

Schepenkring is a collaboration between 8 independent brokers.  Over the years, a unique collaboration has developed. Knowledge and supply is shared throughout the Netherlands.
