The Contest 38 S is a ship that you immediately notice was built to sail for many years. Designed by Dick Zaal and built by Conyplex in Medemblik, solid Dutch craftsmanship from a time when quality and seaworthiness were paramount.
The Vlinder is a neat Contest 38 S and has clearly received the attention such a ship deserves. The high-quality teak interior is warm and atmospheric and thanks to the center cockpit she has a comfortable aft cabin. The bed there has also been extended and widened.
With her wing keel of only 1.55 meters, powerful Volvo Penta of 59 hp, bow thruster, Maxprop, furling mainsail and extensive equipment, this is a very complete cruiser. The hull and superstructure have been professionally painted and still present beautifully.
A rock-solid Dutch quality yacht with character, space and comfort. A super ship for those who want to sail seriously and stay comfortably on board.
