In 1987, 5 independent entrepreneurs took the initiative that would lead to the establishment of the Schepenkring Netherlands Association.

They were all entrepreneurs whose main activity was mediating in the sale of yachts. They asked themselves whether it would be possible to join forces while maintaining full independence and control over their own businesses. Joining forces in the areas of promotion, market development, trade fair visits and market presence. A number of fundamental agreements were made and thus the establishment of the Schepenkring Netherlands Association on August 1, 1988, became a fact.

Schepenkring is a collaboration between 8 independent yacht brokers. Over the years, a collaboration has emerged that can be called unique. Knowledge and offerings are shared throughout the Netherlands.
