What is a ship valuation?
Schepenkring has several sworn and certified Yacht brokers and Valuers, specialized in ship valuations of pleasure craft (yachts). We carry out ship valuations on behalf of yacht owners, banks, insurance companies and the tax authorities, among others. A valuation is not an inspection; it is a valuation of the ship, based on its market position at the time. During the valuation, we can also determine the forced sale value of your boat; this is a valuation of the expected proceeds of the ship in the event of a forced sale in the short term.

What are the costs of a valuation?
We always provide you with a price quote for a ship valuation in advance. To receive one, it's best to send us an email or call the nearest branch. If you send us an email, please provide your details as well as the ship's details (type and kind) and its location. You will receive a non-binding price quote from us. If you decide to proceed with us, the valuation appointment will be made in mutual consultation.
