More information about the Tjalk Woonboot

Atmospheric and complete Tjalk, furnished as a houseboat but also suitable for sailing.

The ship is fully insulated with Rockwool and equipped with double glazing and Kabola central heating from 2019. This makes it pleasant on board even in winter. Inside, it is spacious and homely, with a headroom of up to approximately 2.08 meters and a width of 3.90 meters.

The layout consists of three cabins, five fixed berths, a bathroom with electric toilet and a complete galley with a 4-burner gas stove, refrigerator from 2024 and plenty of cupboard space.

The engine is a DAF 575 Diesel of 105 hp. In 2023, the sails from Molenaar and the entire rigging were renewed. Furthermore, there are two 444W solar panels, a Victron Multiplus from 2025, and shore power available.

With a draft of only 60 cm, the Tjalk is suitable for many inland waterways. Despite being fully equipped as a houseboat, it can also be sailed and navigated perfectly.

A neat and complete Tjalk for someone who wants to live comfortably on the water, but also wants to have the option to sail.

The cabin is exceptionally spacious and can rightly be called a living room in this case. The headroom varies from 208 to 181 cm. The space is 6.2 meters long and 3.9 meters wide.
