Bavaria 42-3 Custom Line – Wicked | 2008 | very completely equipped and much invested
The Bavaria 42-3 Custom Line Wicked is a comfortable and solid sailing yacht for those looking for a spacious Bavaria 42 with excellent sailing characteristics, a lot of comfort and, above all, an impressive package of recent investments. This ship from 2008 is in a very well-maintained condition and is equipped for both relaxing holidays and longer sailing trips. The owner has invested significantly in recent years in, among other things, the sails, navigation equipment, technology and equipment.
A particularly strong point is the sail equipment. Both the mainsail and the genoa are from 2025, made by M-Sails and executed in Challenge Atlantic Premium Cruise Dacron. The mainsail has an area of 37 m² and the genoa 51 m². Both sails were installed in the spring of 2025, making them as good as new. The combination with the Furlex furling system and the Lewmar winches, including electric winches, makes the ship very user-friendly under sail.
Also technically and electronically, the Bavaria 42 Custom Line is excellently equipped. In 2021, among other things, a Raymarine Axiom 9+ chartplotter, Quantum Q2 4D Doppler radar and Raymarine Ray63 VHF radio were installed. Furthermore, Wicked has Raymarine ST60+ instruments, a Raymarine SmartPilot ST6002 autopilot and AIS. The compasses were renewed in 2024.
The investments continue. The three Vetus AGM batteries of 140 Ah are from 2025, as well as various other renewals. In 2026, among other things, the Saildrive cuff, all valves, the impeller pump, cooling water hoses, aerator and silencer were replaced. The engine received a major service in January 2026.
On deck, the yacht features a sprayhood, bimini, cockpit tent, swimming platform, teak in the cockpit, and a practical cockpit table with an extension. The saloon was renewed in 2021, while the roller blinds were replaced in 2022. Inside, you will find three cabins, two wet cells, a spacious saloon, and a longitudinal galley.
Wicked has a CE Design Category A (Ocean) and is therefore designed for offshore sailing in heavy conditions.
Important for buyers there is a VAT statement/original VAT documentation available and the VAT status is registered as paid. CE documentation is also available.
A very complete and well-maintained Bavaria 42-3 Custom Line, with particularly new sails, modern navigation electronics, and demonstrably many recent investments.
