Dehler 36 CWS – fast and well-maintained cruising yacht with CWS system
The Dehler 36 CWS “Vegados” is a sporty yet comfortable sailing yacht, designed by Van de Stadt and built by Dehler Yachtbau GmbH in 1992. This Dehler 36 CWS combines excellent sailing characteristics with the practical CWS system (Central Winch System), making the ship easy to sail and maneuver even with a small crew or solo.
With a length of 11.20 meters, a width of 3.50 meters and a draft of 1.50 meters the Vegados offers an attractive combination of speed, course stability and comfort. The owner describes her as a well-maintained, fast and agile sailor, which performs excellently even in strong winds and at sea.
Sails and deck equipment
The fractional rigging features an aluminum mast and standing rigging that was checked in 2024. The mainsail of approximately 40 m² is equipped with reefing lines that can be operated from the cockpit. In addition, there is a self-tacking jib from 2024, including a spare jib and a storm jib. For sailing, there are two self-tailing Harken winches, an electric Harken winch, and the large central CWS winch.
On deck, the Dehler is also fully equipped with an electric anchor windlass, sea railing, pulpit and pushpit, swimming platform, swimming ladder, cockpit table, and a new sprayhood from 2024.
Comfortable interior
Inside, the Vegados offers two cabins and 4 fixed berths, expandable to 6. The classic wooden finish, blue upholstery, and recently renewed covers ensure a well-maintained and attractive accommodation. Furthermore, a 250-liter water tank, 80-liter holding tank, 50-liter boiler, outdoor shower, manual toilet, 3-burner gas stove with oven, refrigerator, and Ebenspächer hot air heating are present.
Modern navigation and reliable engine
The Yanmar 3GM30F diesel engine of 27 hp has approximately 1,141 operating hours and is driven via a propeller shaft with Variprop. The engine had major maintenance in March 2026; new engine mounts, a new flexible coupling, and a new propeller shaft seal were installed, among other things.
The navigation has been modernized with Raymarine i70S instruments, Raymarine EV100 autopilot, Axiom 9 chartplotter and Raymarine GPS. The VHF radio has GPS and AIS and also has an external control at the helm. The electrical installation includes a 230 Ah lithium service battery, Victron charger and 3000 W inverter.
Asking price €49,000 – VAT paid. The Dehler 36 CWS “Vegados” is an interesting choice for sailors looking for a fast, course-stable and well-equipped cruising sailboat that is excellent for both solo sailing and longer voyages at sea. The owner has sailed to England, Norway, Denmark and France, among other places.
