Welcome to Schepenkring Heeg, located at Ottenhome Heeg on the beautiful Heegermeer, the beating heart of Frisian watersports. We are Jan IJben and Jochum van Tuinen, your yacht brokers in Friesland. Together, we share a great passion for the water and are happy to assist you with the sale or purchase of your vessel.
Jan is the general manager of Ottenhome Heeg and has been active in the watersports industry for many years. Jochum has extensive experience in yacht brokerage and is known for his down-to-earth approach, expertise, and commitment to both buyers and sellers.
Since the autumn of 2025, we have proudly been part of the Schepenkring network. This combines our local knowledge and facilities with the national reach and reliability of Schepenkring Yacht Brokerage. Furthermore, we are the first Schepenkring branch in Friesland, a valuable addition to the network.
Sales from our port in Heeg
Our marina, located right on Heegermeer lake, is a unique location frequented daily by boaters, renters, and visitors. This ensures maximum visibility for your boat. We sell boats from both our sales dock and our covered storage facility.
We also have excellent facilities:
- Crane options for maintenance, transport and storage
- Seasonal moorings in our own harbour, close to the Heegermeer
- Specialist in maintenance and repairs, including painting, polyester repairs, engine maintenance and more
