How does it work with an expert?
An expert will be present during a test drive and will check the boat for you.
During the sea trial there are three phases. The expert will go through the entire boat with you, the broker and possibly the seller and test everything that is present on the ship. A second phase is the actual sailing, during sailing it is checked whether the ship and the engine are functioning properly. A third phase is that the ship is taken out of the water so that the hull can be properly examined. Here the expert checks whether there are visible defects in the hull or propeller and whether the ship is damp (polyester) or whether the thickness is still good (steel ship). The phases can be held in a different order during a sea trial.
After a test drive, the expert will prepare a comprehensive report for you and you can sail with peace of mind. your new ship.
