What is a ship appraisal?
Schepenkring has several sworn and certified Yacht Brokers and Valuers, specialized in ship valuations of pleasure craft (yachts). We perform ship valuations on behalf of yacht owners, banks, insurance companies and the tax authorities. A valuation is not an inspection; it is a valuation of the ship, based on the current market position. We can also determine the execution value of your boat for you during the valuation; this is a valuation of the expected proceeds of the ship in the event of a forced sale in the short term.
