In 1987, 5 independent entrepreneurs took the initiative that would lead to the establishment of the Vereniging Schepenkring Nederland.

They were all entrepreneurs whose main activity was brokering the sale of yachts. They asked themselves whether it would be possible to join forces but retain full independence and control over their own company. A number of fundamental agreements were made and thus the foundation of the Vereniging Schepenkring Nederland on 1 August 1988 was a fact.

Schepenkring is a partnership between 8 independent brokers. Over the years, a partnership has developed that can be called unique. Knowledge and supply is shared throughout the Netherlands.
