The Kuster A-38 is a rugged and solidly built motor yacht with a powerful, timeless design and excellent handling characteristics. Built by Consonant Yachts to a design by Willem S. Nieland, this vessel is known for its solid quality and reliable character. A true example of well-thought-out Dutch yacht building. Thanks to the robust steel construction and the multi-chine hull, the Kuster feels at home on both inland and coastal waters (CE-B). The combination of stability, excellent visibility, and the powerful Vetus Deutz DT43 128 HP makes cruising comfortable and relaxed, even on longer voyages. With both interior and exterior steering, as well as bow and stern thrusters, the ship is easy to maneuver in all conditions.
On board, you will find a warm and classic interior finished in high-quality teak. The layout is practical and spacious, featuring two comfortable cabins and a bright saloon with good views to the outside. The headroom of approximately 2.00 meters contributes to the sense of space and comfort. The ship is fully equipped for extended stays on board. For instance, the Kuster features hot water, a Webasto central heating system (2016), double glazing, and a well-equipped kitchen including an oven, a 4-burner gas stove (gas certificate 2026), and a recent refrigerator (2021). The sanitary facilities are practical, featuring an electric toilet and both an indoor and outdoor shower.
This yacht is also well-maintained technically. Navigation and electronics are fully equipped, including Raymarine instruments, autopilot, radar, and an active AIS (2020). Outside, you will find a spacious aft cockpit with a relatively recent teak deck (approx. 6 years old), comfortable seat cushions, and a winter cover. With the electric anchor winch, swim platform, and davits, the deck is also practically laid out.
This Kuster A-38 comes from the second owner and has always been maintained with care. This is reflected in the condition of the vessel and its complete equipment. With a length of 11.60 meters and a width of 4.05 meters, she offers an excellent combination of space, comfort, and handling characteristics.
