More information about the Rustler 31 Stampede
The Rustler 31 by Holman and Pye is a true classic for the enthusiast of solid sailing and timeless lines. This iconic design from 1969 is known for its excellent seaworthiness, comfortable handling characteristics, and robust build quality. This specific Rustler 31 has been in the possession of the same owner since 1977, who has maintained her with great care and attention.
The warm interior with teak, mahogany, and ash wood exudes atmosphere and authenticity. On board, you will find four berths, a practical layout, and plenty of character. The reliable Sabb 2 HG diesel engine delivers 16 HP and is known for its simplicity and reliability.

Rigging
2010, 28 m2, can be reefed Staysail from Jackels UK, for use on auxiliary stay 8 m², 50 years old, used twice. 60 m2 15 years, used 5 timesRigging to be replaced in 2006.
In 2025, the sails were taken to De Vries for inspection for chafing and loose stitching. According to the sailmaker, the mainsail and genoa can last at least another 5 years. During the winter months, they were taken down and stored dry at home.
