More information about the Catalina 445
This 2009 Catalina 445 (launched in 2010) is likely one of the most beautiful Catalinas in the Netherlands. She comes from the first owner and has always been maintained with great care. The boat was taken ashore annually and stored under a winter cover during the winter months. It is the spacious 3-cabin version with a beautiful teak interior. The forward and starboard aft cabins feature French beds, and the port aft cabin is equipped with bunk beds. Furthermore, there are two toilets, two showers, and a very spacious saloon. With her shallow wing keel of only 1,47 meters, this 44-footer also has a large cruising area. The Yanmar 54 hp, bow thruster, and dual controls also make her easy to sail and maneuver.
Significant investments have been made in recent years. The standing rigging and various halyards were replaced in 2023. In 2024, new Elvström cruising laminate sails, a Raymarine Axiom 2 Pro 12S chart plotter, and new rudder bearings were installed. The service batteries are from 2025. Furthermore, she is equipped with, among other things, electric winches, radar, autopilot, Webasto heating, Code 0, and Coppercoat on the underwater hull.
A particularly neat, complete Catalina 445 that has clearly been well cared for.
