More information about the Bavaria 38-3 Cruiser
This 1998 Bavaria 38-3 Cruiser is a spacious and comfortable cruising yacht with the sought-after three-cabin layout. With six fixed berths, there is plenty of room for vacations with family or friends.
Inside, the ship features the well-known spacious Bavaria layout with warm mahogany paneling. The upholstery was renewed in 2019, and the mattresses were also replaced. Outside, the teak deck stands out, and the fixed sprayhood with glass windows offers plenty of shelter while sailing.
Over the past few years, quite a few things have been renewed. For instance, the Saildrive seal was replaced in 2025, a heavier alternator was installed, and the starter and bow thruster batteries were renewed in 2026. The boiler will be replaced in September 2026, and the Webasto will receive a maintenance service at that time.
Furthermore, she is equipped with, among other things, a Gori 3-blade folding propeller, Garmin navigation with radar, an electric anchor winch, and Hyde Sails cruising laminate sails.
