The Skanoh II was built by Beneteau and designed as a comfortable family sailing yacht with a practical layout and excellent sailing characteristics. With a length of 9.95 meters, a width of 3.45 meters and a draft of 1.50 meters, this ship is ideal for both inland waters and coastal sailing. The hull and superstructure are made of white Polyester, the hull has a beautiful round bilge shape. The ship has a clearance height of 13.5 meters and a headroom inside of 1.90 meters.

The salon offers comfortable seating and a folding table. There are two spacious cabins with fixed berths for 4 people, with extra sleeping space for another 2 people in the salon. The aft cabin has an exceptionally spacious bed. The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner gas stove with oven, a large refrigerator with freezer compartment and ample storage space. The wet room has a manual toilet (renewed in 2023), a shower and hot water boiler. Various renovations have recently been carried out both inside and out, including a new outdoor shower (2024) and USB sockets.

12 volt 220 volt The ship is powered by a reliable Volvo Penta MD2030B 29 hp diesel engine, which had a major service in May 2025, including replacement of rocker arms, valves and exhaust elbow. The engine has been in top condition ever since. There are two batteries, a Mastervolt battery charger and shore power connection. The navigation instruments are from Raymarine, including log, depth and wind meter. An Autohelm autopilot is present, but currently out of order (can be repaired).

The mainsail and genoa are from Lion Sails (2018) and are in excellent condition; both sails are removed in winter and stored heated. The genoa is equipped with a furling system. Furthermore, the ship is equipped with a lazy bag (anthracite) in very good condition, as well as a sprayhood and cockpit tent whose windows and seams were renewed in 2025.
