This popular sailing yacht combines the quality and reliability of the French shipyard Jeanneau with the elegant design of Jacques Fauroux. Rigging & sails – all renewed

In 2022, the complete rigging was renewed, which makes this ship unique in its class.
The new Aluminum mast and boom ensure sturdiness and safety. Both the standing rigging (steel wire) and the running rigging have been completely replaced. The set consists of a new mainsail and genoa (Jeckells, 2022, Dacron) with a Furlex furling jib system. This means that the “Cloudy Bay 2” not only looks fresh and modern, but is also ready for many years of carefree sailing pleasure.

Comfort & interior

Inside, the Sun Odyssey 29.2 offers a surprisingly spacious and bright interior with headroom of 1.75 m. The boat has four fixed berths (forward and aft cabin) and two extra in the saloon, which makes the ship suitable for small families or couples.

The saloon has a cozy dining area, modern upholstery and ample storage space. The galley is practically furnished with a 2-burner gas stove, sink with pressurized water system, and an electric refrigerator. Furthermore, there is a manual toilet, and the ship is equipped with a pressurized water system and a 50-liter water tank.

Navigation & electronics

Fully equipped with modern navigation equipment from Raymarine, including a Axiom chartplotter, autopilot, GPS, log, depth sounder, and wind gauge. In addition, the ship has an AIS (Em-Trak) and a VHF radio (Standard Horizon). Navigation lighting is energy-efficient LED.

Exterior & deck equipment

The spacious aft cockpit is equipped with wheel steering, an sprayhood and a swimming platform with swimming ladder – ideal for anchoring and recreational use. On deck there is a CQR anchor with chain and line, manual windlass, and all usual safety features such as lifebuoy, life raft, Epirb, fire extinguishers and a manual and electric bilge pump.
