The Maxus 24 is a modern and surprisingly spacious trailerable sailing yacht that perfectly meets the needs of both novice and experienced sailors. This 2014 Maxus 24 combines excellent sailing characteristics with a comfortable interior, a practical layout, and exceptionally simple handling. Thanks to its low weight, variable draft, and tilting mast, this vessel is ideal for those who want to sail flexibly on inland waters, coastal waters, and lakes throughout Europe.
The Maxus 24 was designed by Jacek Daszkiewicz and built by Northman in Poland, a shipyard known for its high-quality and innovative trailerable sailing yachts. The model grew into a true European favorite thanks to the excellent balance between comfort, performance, and transportability. With a length of 7,20 meters, a beam of 2,55 meters, and a retractable keel, this sailboat is easy to trailer and launch. The draft varies from just 33 cm to 150 cm, ensuring that even shallow waters remain perfectly accessible.
Inside, the Maxus 24 offers a remarkably spacious interior with six berths. A comfortable double bed is located in the bow, while a spacious double berth is situated aft. Additionally, the settees in the saloon can be used as extra sleeping berths. Thanks to the clever layout, the modern wood-look interior, and the generous natural light, the ship feels particularly open and pleasant. Headroom is 173 cm, rising to 185 cm in the lowered floor at the cabin entrance, which is exceptionally spacious for a sailing yacht of these dimensions.
This Maxus 24 is also well-equipped technically. The Mercury F9 EL 4-stroke outboard engine ensures reliable and economical propulsion. The last engine maintenance was performed in February 2025. Furthermore, the vessel features complete navigation equipment including a Lowrance Elite 5m GPS, Nexus log and wind instruments, depth sounder, compass, and a Simrad TP10 autopilot.
The rigging consists of a fractional mast with an aluminium mast profile and a stainless steel tilting mast foot, which significantly simplifies lowering the mast. The sail wardrobe includes a mainsail, roller jib, and a 25 m² Elvström gennaker, enabling the vessel to deliver sporty performance in both light and stronger winds. Thanks to the stable hull, the 30% ballast ratio, and the simple deck plan, the Maxus 24 is an accessible and safe cruiser for families, couples, or solo sailors.
Furthermore, the vessel is equipped with a refrigerator, electric heating, an outdoor shower, a shore power connection, a cockpit table, and an accompanying double-axle Mecanorem trailer. The trailer has a Belgian license plate and is equipped with a European CE certificate, allowing it to be easily registered throughout Europe. This makes the vessel particularly attractive for owners who wish to travel flexibly and explore various sailing areas without being dependent on a fixed berth.
Are you looking for a young, complete, and versatile trailerable sailboat with plenty of living space and excellent sailing characteristics? Then this Maxus 24 is undoubtedly a particularly interesting choice.
