The X-382 has been known for years as one of X-Yachts' most successful performance cruisers, and this version perfectly proves why. “Jack in the Box” combines excellent sailing characteristics with comfort, safety and high-quality racing equipment, making the ship suitable for both long-distance trips and high-level sporty sailing.
What truly distinguishes this X-382 is its impressive rigging and sail wardrobe. The light and stiff carbon fiber mast in combination with the Rod rigging, renewed in 2019 and checked annually, ensures optimal performance, direct trim response and maximum reliability offshore. For the serious sailor, this is an exceptionally strong configuration that is rarely offered in this condition.
The extensive Ullman Sails sail wardrobe includes multiple high-quality Fiberpath Carbon sails, including mainsails and headsails from 2019 and 2021. Additionally, the ship features a storm jib, a powerful 132 m² gennaker, a 67 m² halfwinder, and two Carbon bowsprits for gennaker and Code 0. The Carbon spinnaker pole with Kevlar protection also underlines the sporty and professionally equipped character of this yacht.
Under sail, the X-382 offers a perfect balance between speed, control, and seaworthiness. Thanks to the solid X-Yachts construction, the deep fixed keel, and the high ballast ratio of 44%, the ship feels stable and confidence-inspiring, even in heavier conditions. With CE category A, this X-382 is built for offshore and ocean sailing.
Inside, you will find a warm teak interior with a classic and practical layout. The saloon, two cabins, and comfortable galley make longer stays on board pleasant, while recent renewals such as new mattresses and cushions contribute to extra comfort.
Furthermore, the ship is equipped with modern Raymarine electronics, including Axiom chartplotters, radar, AIS and autopilot, as well as a reliable Yanmar 3GM30FC diesel engine with Saildrive and Flexofold folding propeller.

Steering wheel The owner has already made several long and distant voyages, including to the Azores, around England, Norway, Sweden, France, Spain and Portugal.
The ship has been ashore annually for maintenance. Last engine maintenance in May 2026, new antifouling layer applied in March 2026.

Safety
