Dehler 34 Top – sporty performance cruiser with many renovations
Dehler 34 Top from 1992, designed by E.G. van der Stadt, with a Yanmar 3YM20 of 21 hp from 2019, shaft drive, renewed equipment and a comfortable layout with two cabins. An attractive sailing yacht for those who want to combine sporty sailing characteristics with comfortable cruising.
The Dehler 34 Top is known as a sporty yet practical German performance cruiser. The design by E.G. van der Stadt offers a nice balance between speed, sailing characteristics and comfort. The Equator has been renewed and improved in various areas in recent years. An important plus is the Yanmar 3YM20 diesel engine from 2019, with 21 hp and shaft drive. The engine has approximately 405 operating hours and is combined with a folding propeller.
Investments have also been made in equipment in recent years. For example, the Dehler has a new Stainless steel tiller 2025, a renewed furling system 2024, Top deck on the cockpit benches from 2020, recent batteries and various renewed navigation and electrical equipment.
Comfortable interior
The practical layout makes the Dehler 34 Top suitable for both weekend trips and longer sailing holidays. The boat features two cabins and four fixed berths, with the possibility to create two additional berths in the saloon. At the front is a spacious V-berth with storage space and hanging lockers. Behind it is the wet cell with toilet and sink. The saloon has a U-shaped sofa, a straight sofa and a large extendable table. To port is the galley and to starboard the navigation corner. The second cabin is located aft to starboard. The galley is equipped with a 3-burner stove, oven and 80 liter electric refrigerator. For staying on board, a Webasto hot air heating is present. The water tank has a capacity of 90 liters.
Navigation and sailing equipment
The Evenaar features, among other things, a Raymarine Tridata from 2019, Raymarine EVO100 autopilot from 2019, a Horizon DX 1800 GPS VHF radio with external control and LED navigation lights. The fractional rigging is equipped with an aluminum mast and Insails sails. On board are, among other things, a mainsail, a Insails High Aspect laminate jib of 22 m² from 2020 and a genoa. The genoa is from 2019. In addition, six Lewmar manual winches are present. Outside, the Dehler has a sprayhood, guard rail, pulpit and pushpit, two anchors, manual anchor winch, cockpit table and a comfortable cockpit with Topdeck on the cockpit benches.
