The Hallberg-Rassy 31 Zonnevaar is a beautifully designed and solidly built sailing yacht from the Swedish quality shipyard Hallberg-Rassy. This example from 2005 is one of the last MK I versions of this popular model and combines the characteristic classic appearance with a practical layout and excellent sailing characteristics.
The yacht is largely in original condition and, for its age, is in good to very good state of maintenance. The current owner has owned the ship since 2021 and has had technical maintenance carried out annually, winter storage indoors, and the teak deck treated. The antifouling has also been renewed annually. The maintenance history and workshop data are available, so that the future owner gets a good picture of the maintenance carried out.
The Hallberg-Rassy 31 offers an attractive, classic interior with wooden finish, blue upholstery and a saloon with central table and two benches. The layout features a forward cabin, an aft cabin and a lockable wet cell. With a headroom of approximately 1.88 meters, six berths and a galley, the ship is suitable for comfortable stays on board and longer sailing trips.
The galley is equipped with a two-burner Optimus stove with oven, an electric Isotherm refrigerator of approximately 12 liters with a 4-liter freezer compartment, and a Webasto hot air heater. The water supply consists of a 190-liter stainless steel water tank and a 22-liter boiler. The waste water tank has a capacity of 50 liters.
The propulsion is a Volvo Penta MD 2020-D BT three-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 19 hp (14 kW) and has 715 engine hours on the clock. The engine is equipped with a Saildrive with a folding propeller. The Saildrive cuff was replaced in 2021. The engine had its last maintenance in the spring of 2026. The batteries and battery cables were renewed in 2026.
The mast and rigging were last checked in April 2026, during winter storage. The Dacron mainsail from Elvström is from 2005. It has an area of 25.3 m² and is equipped with battens. The furling genoa was supplied in 2021 by De Vries Sails and has an area of approximately 20 m². In addition, there is a storm jib.
On board is a complete basic equipment for navigation, including a GPS, chart plotter, log/speedometer, depth sounder, wind meter, autopilot and compass. Furthermore, the Hallberg-Rassy 31 has an electric bilge pump, a radar reflector, a life raft and six automatic life jackets.
The ship is equipped with shore power, a fixed battery charger, battery monitor and an inverter. The gas installation was last checked in 2021. The loose handheld VHF radio has been replaced by a new one.
A VAT statement is available for the ship.
